Appreciating Life’s Journey
It has been said, “You do not find a happy life, you make it!”
While listening to the way people converse about life, I realize more everyday, some people are never satisfied. You can probably names those individuals too. When a man mentioned to me that his mother was always negative and critical, and she make their lives’ tough, I thought about her choices.
She could have chosen to walk a more productive path while making her life and those lives around her much more enjoyable.’
Almost everyone has gone through some type of suffering by the time they are in their middle adult years. The woman I mentioned is in her eighties. Does she still have a chance to change? Yes! I know people who have changed and are much happier and content. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Pity will get you no place that is good.
Our life’s journey is ours to appreciate or to mourn. I could have, I should have, I would have is worthless.
Change the things you can now to be content and fulfilled.
If God created us to be miserable, some individuals are doing a fine job. I believe He desires His best for us. We must choose how to appreciate life every day. Even through struggles and sorrow, tragedy and loss, we can move forward to a brighter life.
Find those around you who need assistance or encouragement. If you look, there are many cases around you that are definitely miserable and that could also be you! Appreciating life’s journey is full of value and connection; it is about seeing miracles, loving life and making days better in your house and in other places.
Do you want people to say, “He is so negative and unhappy!” or do you want people to say, “He lives with kindness, a spirit of helpfulness and joy?” Fill in the blanks of those sentences at what you think people would say today about you.
Can you improve? No doubt. We all need to live up to our potential, which we are able to achieve if committed.
Find your real self or if you do not like your ‘real self’ – create a more peaceful, pleasant, motivated human being.
In order for more of the world to change, we must be willing to change and improve.
In what ways can you elevate your life?
You can do it. Life can be taken from us at any moment. Elevate your life now.
Appreciating life’s journey is a requirement to a productive life.
