Happiness or Sadness
“It’s not about forcing happiness, it’s about not letting sadness win”
Are you having a bad day? Are you depressed or lonely? Are you unhappy? Do you live in a state of sadness?
Do you consider how much happiness or sadness is involved in your daily decisions?
You could be going through withdrawal of drugs, alcohol, divorce, loss, grief, illness or depression.
Do not let them take you down. Live above your circumstances. Find reasons to smile, help others and to laugh somehow; you can do it. Find happiness in life; there are examples everywhere. You choose whether to live in happiness or sadness. Can you change? Yes, you can.
Happiness or Sadness – You Choose
People tell me they are not motivated, they are trudging along in life, they are sad and do not know how to be lifted.
Troubles reach into every life and change who we might be if we do not guard ourselves and learn to trust life again.
Living a life to thrive is imperative at any age, in and through most circumstances.
When life throws you down, it attempts to steal all happiness and will leave you exhausted – do not let downward spiraling circumstances win.
Write down the ‘good’ things/people/kindnesses in your life. Dwell there for a little while.
Think of those who have ‘less than’ in health, family, friends, faith and opportunity.
Be grateful for blessings and potential. Tap that potential; hang on and move forward.
Reach out to inspire others or at the very least, share by listening and showing your support.
When I realize that I genuinely trust someone, my life is bolstered and supported by knowing that there is someone who cares and proves loyalty to me.
When you realize that you have not given anyone the opportunity to care about you, to help you, to encourage you, you have short-changed yourself. You have also taken a blessing from that person who offers kindness and truth
Fear will keep you from living a joyful, fulfilling, happy life. Fear will keep you from knowing and loving God and His plans for you.
I meet people who are not the same day to day. These people who change their personalities and care for others – often are difficult to trust. Other people are steady and dependable; they keep your words to themselves and lift your days when possible. Supportive people listen and do not frivolously give you answers and scenarios that may not help.
Find those amazing individuals who are trusted, admired and accomplished. Trust those people who have proven their worthiness and have your best interest at heart.
Without support and understanding, our lives would be frail. We learn to be strong, yet vulnerable, around our family and friends as we trust them to care about our welfare as we so strongly care about their well-being.
Imagine… life where you have no one to trust. Take a risk and choose wisely. Give of yourself and your thoughts.
Imagine…if we would listen intently and show compassion leaving judgment behind.
You will thrive. You will elevate your life. Happiness – Sadness – Can you change?
