A Labor of Love – Share More Love
You don’t think about it, but you are performing a labor of love so much of the time.
Some of us think we are selfish and, at times, we are thinking only of ourselves. At other times we often reach out and show love.
Your acts of love toward your families, your home and others are labors of love when they require more than you would normally offer.
A friend made me a slip cover for a chair that I love. She told me that she struggled with it but it was a labor of love and she would finish. I treasure her efforts of love especially now that she is gone from this earth. I don’t know if I thanked her enough or showed enough appreciation at what her creativity meant to me, but I tried. I would try harder to let her know her value in my life, if I had another chance.
You often do not realize what your words of care mean to someone else.
Your journey should include a more loving, giving, kinder spirit offered to those in this world who need a touch of grace.
Lives can be destroyed and diminished but lives can also be restored and renewed with God’s great love shining through you.
Be a light on a hill, a shining example, a beacon of hope and joy.
Grow your heart and your capacity to love people who are unlovable. Bloom into a garden of compassion, heartfelt empathy and abundant example of graciousness to everyone you meet. Think about the situations that you could have handled in a better way.
Give your best to your Creator, your family and your friends, yourself and do not forget – those people you meet along the way. Share more love.
I think of things I should have said and actions I should have taken and determine to handle the situations better next time.
Look for opportunity to cross your path. Reach out and take hold of life and intention that you never exercised in the past. Move on, progress and make a difference in someone’s life today. You will never be sorry. You can offer amazing inspiration to everyone you meet.
