Show Life Strength
I read a tee shirt that said And Your Whiny, Crybaby Opinion Would Be? I have to laugh at that question. I’ve never asked it and really don’t want to know.
I’m sure I have whined. I am not proud of it. I can’t remember when I would have done such a thing – but I’m sure I have, at some point. Most of us whine now and then. Whining is definitely something to decide NOT to remember. Show life strength in all that you do.
You have permission to whine in your room with the door shut but please not to friends and family. Also included in the no-whine zone are service workers, attendants, servers, doormen, taxi-drivers, teachers and neighbors. Maybe now and then to your health care professional, but only if it’s genuine.
Never whine to your kids. Life has too much to offer. What if you lived in a third-world country – what if you were dying of a disease? What if.. What if..
Whiner. That’s what we call some people. There are women and men who act like children sometimes. Mothers say, “No whining.” You have the choice to get up and do something about your situation or your attitude; in order to change it. Show strength and an attitude of deliverance from whining.
People sit in clubs and groups and meetings and begin to whine. They whine about problems but usually have few solutions. Solutions are the answer – not the whiny attitudes.
I know that many whiners do not ever focus on themselves to realize that they whine all the time.
You can whine about losing something, about eating the wrong foods and feeling miserable, about drinking too much and not remembering your evening. You can whine about losing a championship or not making it into your first-choice college. Whining does not bring good results. Ever. Change does!
1. When you go to bed at night – review in your mind something good that happened that day. 2. Be thankful. Decide to wake up the next morning with something good and positive on your mind. If you do this for a week, it will come more readily each day.
Whining doesn’t help anyone.
If a negative person always begins sentences with a complaint – try to turn it around on them with something positive. It helps. It works alot of the time.
I am so thankful that God has given me a mind that allows my attitude of joy to flow – most of the time. I am so thankful that as I reach out to others – their happiness increases and their attitudes are lifted – I hope and pray – most of the time – I’m still working on it. I am unhappy with myself when I fall into the trap of negative thinking or falling for someone’s poor attitude.
Some people work a little harder at it because they are normally negative – BUT don’t give up. Life is too short to be whiny and sad. Life is too short to be a complainer.
Life is meant to be lived to the fullest in mind, body and spirit! Do it now. Begin today. You can do it too!
If you know someone who whines all the time – sensitively, very carefully, point out the goodness in their lives. If they have shrunken hearts – they can be refilled.
With faith, hope, love and peace – sweetness enters and nourishes the heart. Our God will supply all your needs – if you let him.
Step on whining to stop it; do not feel sorry for yourself. Take action and a mental high road that allows you to grow and bloom more each day!
