We’re All Peddling Something – Going Forward
Some people peddle charm or advise. Some men and women peddle looks and advantages. Others sell magic ways to meet new people, to look younger, to have more energy and on and on. We read articles and search for truth in advertising and marketing; we want to know what works. We need encouragement and reviews and promises.
Men often peddle desire in the form of appreciation. Women often peddle comfort and care in a nurturing way. Strongly opinionated people who are verbal – peddle control.
Kids peddle bikes and trikes and whatever they want next. They peddle self-interest.
Going forward – we’re all peddling something; it’s sometimes to be helpful or instead, smacks of complete selfishness. It might be a sports team we’re crazy about. It might be an idea or an invention. It could be something we love and want others to love too. It could be internet secrets and how to build business; these are everywhere. It seems that everyone has the ability to sell their secrets and make you very successful; you just have to buy the program(s).
We want what we want. We try to sell our way to get others to understand our viewpoint. We offer hope to those who have none. We aren’t usually paid money for peddlin our stuff but we are often paid-back through another person. They can be peddlin strength, support, encouragement, empowerment, love, kindness, or a listening ear.
We’re all peddlin ourselves in some way to someone. We may want a job. We may want an inheritance. We possibly just want a new toy or car. We attempt to ingratiate ourselves to our children, to strangers and to people we meet. We’re selling who we want them to see.
When we’re out peddlin – let’s peddle the real deal. Let’s show our truest kindest self. Let’s live today fully. Let’s appreciate those who listen and support us. Let’s peddle only goodness and God’s love. Think about what you are peddlin to others.
It’s vital that we peddle what will be advantageous to those we meet. Let’s offer a hand. Let’s peddle assistance, understanding and a thankful attitude.
Smile – That’s encouragement peddlin!
