Oh so lovely! Oh so dusty! If we can just get down to the beautiful patina on those items, we’d have something gorgeous. If we could only find more old antiques we’d know more of the story.
There are people in this world who can find secret treasures in the oddest places. They can use items that others would discard because they identify the value and beauty in them. I have done this myself at times in my life. I saw someone burning huge old bluish/green faded wooden shutters and said, Stop please. Those are gorgeous. They had already destroyed most of them. I used them as display pieces in my floral shop for many years after I found them and sold them to the next owner. To me they were a secret treasure before I found them.
Have you ever felt dusty or in a desert? We just need to be dusted off, washed and some of our old life comes back. Don’t be held back. Don’t live back there in the dust. Look for new heights, new polish, new vision for yourself. Sure, you might have to work a little to transform. You may even have to change vital pieces of your life decisions to shine once again. It’s worth it. Focus.
I’ve found that God does not want us to waste our lives. He made us for great purpose. You are uniquely you and you should treasure who you are. Become the very best at what you do every day.
You are a secret treasure possibly stuffed away in old habits, desires and nonsense. Kick out. Make waves. Run through the sprinkler and dive in the lake. Wash it off. Look up.
Shine into your most radiant being! Secret treasures are valuable. bloom.
