Have you ever felt like running? You possibly wanted to run from your family or your job. Maybe you wanted to leave a frustrating friendship. If you can find no value in what you are doing or who you are with, maybe you should run. Most importantly – think about what you are gaining from the career or relationships. That will help you decide if it’s worth your time and effort. Think about what you are giving and who is impacted. When you are an employee, a friend or family member , be loyal, be consistent. You can’t get them back once they are gone.
I know a woman who runs away from life. She’s always reaching for another star and does not realize she’s missing beautiful daily living. A woman also told me that her sister always buries her head in the sand and doesn’t face reality; she runs away from life and truth.
Where would you go? Chicago, NYC, the Rocky Mountains, to a better neighborhood, to Columbus, to your parent’s home? Would you take your troubles with you or pass them on to someone else? Work it out. Accept the challenges and grow. We never want anyone to say about us, “She runs away from life”.
